HUNT21 is a 21-day treasure hunt hidden somewhere in the Camden region. A new hunt begins on the 1st day of every month. Each day, a new clue is released. The goal is simple: follow the clues, solve the puzzles, and find the hidden box.

📅 How long does each hunt run for?

Each hunt runs for 21 consecutive days. After that, if not found, hunters have one extra week to find the box — before a brand-new hunt begins on the 1st day of the next month. The box will then remain hidden until found.

💌 How do I join?

Just enter your email on the homepage to receive each day’s clue directly to your inbox. You’ll also get notified when a box is found or a new hunt begins. We won’t spam you, we promise.

🎁 What do I win if I find the box?

Inside the box is a secret word. Email that word to the address listed inside the box to claim your prize — a treasure of vouchers and/or gift cards proudly provided by a local Camden business. You must be part of the email newsletter to claim any prizes. Hunt 21 aims to increase the prize pool gradually as more players and sponsors join in on the fun. So spread the word!

🏞️ Where could the box be hidden?

Anywhere publicly accessible within the Camden Council area — parks, walkways, gardens, or landmarks. You’ll never need to enter private property, break laws, or put yourself in danger to find it.

⚠️ Is it safe to participate?

Yes. The box will never be placed in a dangerous or unsafe position. Every hiding spot is carefully chosen so no one’s safety is ever at risk.

🕒 Can the box be in a location that closes at night?

Yes — some hunts may lead to areas only open during certain hours. If a location closes, you’ll just need to return during open times.

💀 What if someone else finds the box first?

If the box is found, it will be announced via email, on the website and via socials. But the daily clues will still be released, and a marker will be placed where the box was hidden. Hunters who continue the chase and find the marker can email that word to the address listed inside the box to claim your spot to be listed in the honourable Hall of Hunters.

🧭 Do I need to pay to join?

No. HUNT21 is completely free to play.

🧠 How hard are the clues?

They start cryptic — photos, codes, sound bites, outside-the-box clues — then gradually get easier until the final clue almost reveals the location.

🤝 Can anyone play?

Yes. Anyone, from anywhere, can join the hunt. You don’t need special skills — just curiosity and persistence.

🧍‍♂️ Are there rules?

Just a few simple ones:

• Respect public property and nature.

• Respect other hunters — everyone’s chasing the same thrill.

• Don’t damage or move anything unnecessarily.

🏆 Who provides the prizes?

All prizes are sponsored by local Camden businesses who support the hunt and the spirit of adventure.

Yes, but don’t spoil the fun. You’re welcome to share photos and theories — just avoid revealing the exact spot or giving away key clues.
